In pursuance of approval of the Govt. of Assam vide Letter No. E-613214/18 dated 31/05/2025, ONLINE APPLICATIONS are invited from eligible intending candidates permanently residing in Assam for undergoing one year VFA Training Course in Elementary Knowledge of A.H. & Veterinary Science for the Session 2025-26 at the School of Veterinary Science & A.H. at Ghungoor, Silchar, Assam and its extended campuses which will be received from 12.00 hrs of 14/06/2025 up to 23.59 hrs of 13/07/2025 for admission against 200 number of seats against 200 nos of vacancies as per Roster Register as mentioned hereunder

For the purpose of determining the age limit, the Department will accept only the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate/Admit card issued by a recognized Education Board. No other document relating to age such as horoscope, affidavit, birth extract from Municipal Corporation, Health Department, service record etc. will be accepted.
Minimum educational qualification required for admission is HSSLC (Science) passed with Biology as a Subject from the recognized University/ Board as per Rule 8 of “The Assam Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Subordinate Service Rule, 2002” as amended up to date vide “The Assam Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Subordinate Service (Amendment) Rules, 2017” published vide Govt. Notification No.VFV.155/2013/62 dated 06/07/2017.
Reservation for admission into 200 seats shall be given as per existing Reservation Policy. The benefit of reservation under EWS can be availed upon production of latest income certificate for the Financial Year 2024-25 issued by the Circle Officer of the Revenue Circle where the candidate and/or his family normally resides. The income and asset certificate issued by any one of the authorities in prescribed format as given in Annexure- I (to be uploaded in Department's website) shall only be accepted as proof of candidate's claim as belonging to EWS.

Registration No for login. After login candidate shall have to fill all the sections step by step. The application after duly filled up has to be submitted along with all the
uploading scanned copies of the documents. After submission, candidate will get an Acknowledgement against confirmation of the application.
